Welcome Address

Welcome, and I am delighted to share that in October 2024, the Somatic Experiencing training program in Georgia became a reality. I started thinking about this 8 years ago, and as a result of several years of tireless work by our organizational team, the Somatic Experiencing training program has officially launched in Georgia. letterI believe this fact is of the utmost importance, especially now, at this moment when highly traumatic events are unfolding in Georgia. Training Somatic Experiencing practitioners is essential and urgent, as it brings hope that very soon, these practitioners will help people process trauma and increase nervous system resilience and coping capacities.

I would like to congratulate our first cohort of Georgian students on beginning the Somatic Experiencing training program and wish them success on this unique, quite challenging, yet highly fascinating journey.

I would also like to share a letter sent to us a few weeks ago by the Executive Director of Somatic Experiencing International (SEI), Rebecca Stahl, and the International Programs Manager, Katie Kroll.

We are publishing this letter here and kindly invite you to read it.

 With respect and much love,

Katey Gagnidze-McCormick
