The registration for Beginning year II/III Part 1 & Part 2 of the Somatic Experiencing® training program is now open.

The all-day trainings of Beginning year II/III Part 1 & Part 2 training module will take place online via Zoom on the following dates:
April 4, 5, 6, 2025 - online, 3 days
June 20, 21, 22, 2025 - online, 3 days

During the Beginning year II/III Part 1 & Part 2 training module of the SE training program, Students will learn:
Assess the neurophysiology of each aspect of the threat response: defensive orientation, fight/flight/freeze, deactivation and completion, and exploratory orienting
Begin to integrate Porges' Polyvagal Theory of ANS function
Explain the SE model of SIBAM (Sensation, Image, Behavior,Affect, Meaning) and its significance in trauma
Explore coupling dynamics—the over- and under-association of the elements of SIBAM and elements of physiological responses to traumatically-stressing experiences
Acquire brief intervention skills that provide long-term solutions to acute and chronic symptoms of trauma
Explore the integration of SE into ongoing professional practice
Explore the appropriate use of touch in the context of SE
Trainer: Ariel Giarretto
The practical part of the training will be led by assistants - the internationally accredited American and/or European psychologist-psychotherapists and other professionals from different countries.
The fee for the Beginning year II/III Part 1 & Part 2 training module of the SE training program is $890.
